Sign of the Times
Tonight, we got together with some friends for dinner to celebrate Hubs' birthday. The first 8 of us to arrive (four couples--2 married, 2 dating) sat around the table and realized that we all met our partners on internet dating websites. It was a wild realization...I guess that what was once considered unconventional has become mainstream!
I'm the oldest of 7, and there are 4 of us who are married. Only one of the 4 didn't meet on the internet (high school sweetheart). Even my dad met his second wife on the internet. It's becoming the norm!

ReplyDeleteI remember when internet dating was considered somewhat taboo and racy, and only what people who were looking for a 'hook up' did. Now look, it's so much easier than hoping you meet someone at the supermarket or a club or something. :)
