I have two young nieces and two young nephews in Oregon, and I must say, it sucks being so far away from them. Sigh. Sorry he had to leave, but gosh, he's a cutie! Glad you had a fun visit.
Awww! Totally know how you feel :( My 16 month old nephew lives 9 ~ 10 hrs away by car. For the first few months of his life, I made the trek down to see him every month. I just missed him so much! It's gotten a lot harder to do that now and my bro and his wife don't bring my nephew up here because it's too long a car ride for the little one.
I love where I live, but the only thing I hate is being away from my family like this. I really miss seeing and holding my little nephew!
He's going back to Texas today with Jilly and Nana, and I could cry about it, but I'm holding it together.
