Several of you asked me to post some photos of our new house here in Texas. I wanted to wait until we had most of the unpacking done and been able to hang some things up on the walls. Anyway, this is our house! I love the dwarf Magnolia tree in our front yard. The blossoms are just starting to bud!

We sold our bedroom furniture before we left California, so if this looks a little minimalist, it's because our box springs are sitting on the floor, and our bedside tables are tv trays! I'll show some "after" pictures once this room is set up a little more:

Your house is gorgeous!!! I love the brick and the trees. I can imagine myself hanging out in your livingroom or us cooking/snacking in your kitchen. All looks warm and inviting. Is that a stencil or a wall hanging over the media center in the livingroom?
ReplyDeleteDo you liked the striped bedroom? I do..the model of our homes had a bedroom that had lattice work on one wall. I wanted to duplicate it and took pics and everything. But..I'm just not that creative or patient.

ReplyDeleteThe scrolly thing over the media center in the living room is a metal wall hanging (it's actually 3 pieces). I bought them at Marshall's Home Goods for a really decent price! I love a good bargain!
