I liked my old blog design, but was ready for a change. What do you think?

This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!

Oh, Starshine! I love, love, LOVE the new look of your blog! It's BEAUTIFUL!!!
BTW, if you shoot me an e-mail with your info, I can mail you your consolation prize from my movie contest a few weeks ago ;)
I've only seen it the once but at the time I thought the resemblance was pretty remarkable.
