This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!

Tracy, I am so incredibly happy for you! I love your blog. You probably don't remember me, I used to go to FCC with you, Jill and your mom. Your mom gave me the link here. I'm so glad she did. :)
Why do you call him esuitor? I might have to check the archives for that... if it's because you met via the net then perhaps I have a happy ending story on that note to encourage you. :)
