Apparently, commitment, planning, and sticking to a diet really do work! During my two weeks at home, my mom and I did phase one of The South Beach Diet. I am pleased to say that during that time, I lost some weight!
I'd like to thank my mother, without whom I never would have stuck to this! It takes lots of prep work, and she certainly did most of it. She did so much menu planning and was my cheerleader the whole way!
I'd also like to give a shout-out to No Sugar Added Fudgesicles and Sugar Free Jello. You two totally rock! You kept my sweet tooth from having to check into an insane asylum.
Now that I'm back in LA, I plan to continue to do South Beach Diet (Phase 2). 4 pounds down, 11 pounds to go for Operation String Bikini. By the way, I bought a string bikini for my honeymoon! I have serious incentive, now!

Congrats on finding a way to keep that sweet tooth happy, and yay about the bikini! You're date is coming SO FAST! What day are you getting married?
June 30th is the big day, J!
Hurray on the weight loss! Way to go!
June 30th? You'll be happy to know that on a Hindu calendar, getting married on the full moon is considered 'very auspicious', and June 30th is the full moon. ;) I know you're not Hindu, but really, who wants to turn down good luck?
Ted and I were also married on the full moon.
Great!! I went to WW on Friday. They said I had gained .4lbs. I've been eating ever since. It is terrible how that scale tries to rule my life. That is why I only weigh once a month. I"ll be bad a few days, then start back on program.
Boo ya, baby. Well done.
Wow.. you bought the bikini already.
I guess when you find it, you gotta just go for it. Kinda like your dress huh?
I admire your discipline!! Awesome that you have the support of your mom. My problem with fudgicles is that they're quite tasty and I have been known to eat more than one (or three) at a time... Bad, Buttercup.
I want to see a picture of the bikini. What's it look like? Also, it's so clear that eSuitor loves you for everything that you are. Don't get too hung up about all this losing weight stuff. I totally support trying to optimize your health, and I think it's fantastic that you've had such wonderful results, but you're beautiful just as you are. Remember that.
What a great feeling! Way to go Tracy. Keep it up sister :)
Way to go! Keep it up. We're rooting for you.
