Kindergarden teacher or midwife. I actually thought for half a second on becoming a midwife. But the down side of it scared me too much to even try. If there were no limitations including the ones I put on myself I'd totally do it!
Good question... what would we do if we could be paid to do what we love...
I am learning to do mine right now. My current career (for the last 10 years actually) has been an insurance agent, can I tell you how exciting that is... wait... let me muster some energy here...
but I am going to school (2nd trip through) again to learn photojournalism and aviation. Fly around the world, capture all of it, good and bad with the lens of a camera and write about it for others to share in understanding the far reaches of our home (earth). Then I will be doing what I love.
I'd be a mom, a teacher, a photographer, a baker, an event planner, a caterer, a florist, a gardener, a candlestick maker (oh sorry, got carried away).
I would definitely, without a doubt, make my living as an actress. I'd love to have a life-long career as a character actress, making people laugh while touching their hearts--and all through telling a good story!
I also love writing, and would love to be paid to write articles for an interesting website.
I would be a singer. More like the Norah Jones, or Corrine Bailey Rae type. If the caliber of Disney Cartoon movies was still with our childhood ones (The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast...), I would LOVE to be the voice/singer for the main girl character.
This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!

I'd be a travel writer. Imagine being paid to see the world's greatest, most romantic and most picturesque places.....
And writing...well, for most bloggers, I think it comes naturally.
For me...it is my DREAM job!
Similar to wordnerd-- I'd be a photographer and writer who went around the world to beautiful gardens. I'd have a series of books about what I saw.

Starshine,
You ask but you do not share your own?

Life is too short not to do what you love.

Happy travels,

I would do whatever I wanted to do at that particular moment and get paid for it. I'm fickle, so it would change a lot. :)
doctor. hands down. I love helping people and it's so universal you can doctor all over the world...(love, love, love to live abroad)
Thanks for coming by my blog!
