Sign of the Times
Tonight, we got together with some friends for dinner to celebrate Hubs' birthday. The first 8 of us to arrive (four couples--2 married, 2 dating) sat around the table and realized that we all met our partners on internet dating websites. It was a wild realization...I guess that what was once considered unconventional has become mainstream!

I'm the oldest of 7, and there are 4 of us who are married. Only one of the 4 didn't meet on the internet (high school sweetheart). Even my dad met his second wife on the internet. It's becoming the norm!

I love that story... it gives everyone hope, doesn't it?
I remember when internet dating was considered somewhat taboo and racy, and only what people who were looking for a 'hook up' did. Now look, it's so much easier than hoping you meet someone at the supermarket or a club or something. :)
