Midnight Moment

As per usual, I'm up way past my bedtime. Ever since my play opened, my night owl hours have become even later. Hubs is in bed beside me snoring away, as I sit with my laptop propped in front of me and my pillows propped up behind me.

I just got up to get something in the next room, and walking back to bed, I saw Hubs sleeping and the glowing apple on the back of my computer giving off a gentle light. The sight took me off guard a little. It was as if I stepped outside my life for a moment and then caught a quick glimpse of it. And I liked what I saw.

Life is a beautiful gift, and I feel very blessed with the one God has given me.

Awww.. I'm sitting here in bed with my glowing apple and my hubs slightly snoring too!

We JUST finished selecting our wedding photos. Yea I know, a little late! But our poor photographer has been so very patient with us and well, we set a goal this weekend to get it done and now... its done. Email sent! Phew!

Now, if only I didn't have meetings starting up in a few hours I would be in a better mood. Perhaps if I just stay up, the morning would never come! yea! that's the ticket!

Enjoy those beautiful moments!

Oh, you sweet sweet girl... you are so thankful for your blessings! In spite of snoring. That's why I love visiting you - your perspective on life!

I like this concept...of feeling like you are stepping outside of your life...just for a moment. You are right...life is precious...and it's great to be able to take a moment...and say....this is GOOD!

Congrats on your play, I am SO excited for you!

Awww! Starshine, I love how you always remember to be thankful for the gifts that you've been given. A lot of people could learn a thing or two from you ;) Thanks for the reminder!

Tee hee...Here I was feeling sorry for myself (being homesick for my friends and family) when I have a really amazing life here. *sigh* I must remember to give thanks...
