I voted, and they had a "kid vote" in NC for Maggie, too! She just pointed to the person she was most attracted to. However, had there been a write in candidate for her, she would've chosen Elmo, I'm sure!
So glad you guys got out to vote :) We're anxious to see the outcome of this election! We(Hubby and I) have been following things pretty closely over here in Canada :) MUCH more interesting and exciting than Canadian politics!!
i voted :D it was cool cause apparently 1/3 of our township had already sent in absentee ballots. so, first, it was encouraging that so many folks had already voted...and second, altho we still had to wait a bit there was 1/3 less people to wait behind! hehe!
This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!
