On a recent trip to Z Gallery, I saw a framed work of art that gave me the inspiration to create something of my own for our new home. I haven't made the final piece yet, but these are a couple of prototypes I made.
I like the idea of laying in a clipping from a magazine or a catalogue here and there to give the piece some extra texture and interest.
Can you tell I was needing a little colour?

Can I steal the idea from you?
Sharon,
I actually just used a ball point pen--kind of like a gel pen that has a nice flow to it.
Molly,
You are totally welcome to steal the idea...although, I like to think of it as inspiration! ;) Just like Z Gallery inspired me. :)

LOVE it!! I need to get some color on our walls--perhaps I'll take this inspiration and run with it. :-) Oh, and I love the curls too--so fun!
Can't wait to see it finished! Kudos to you for following inspiration!!
Also thanks for the inside scoop on must visit places in San Antonio. I'm so excited for my upcoming trip and really good Mexican Food. Yes! :)
