I'm Alive!

Hi! According to my site meter, there are still 37 of you who pop by here each day in hopes that I might actually post something. Thank you for having faith in me!

We've had our boys for seven weeks now, and WOW! It's hard work and so much fun all rolled up in one!

I've been unsure about what to do with this blog, since I've been posting exclusively on our adoption blog for the past two months.

Do I hang up my hat here at The Starshine Report? After all, this blog was created to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, and that chapter has come to a close and a new chapter has started. I can still post about other things on our adoption blog and make that my sole place to write.

Do I post primarily on our adoption blog and occasionally here? I do have some Starshine-y things to write about still, like the awesome acting class I found here in Houston that I've been attending on Monday nights this month, and LOVED it! Or the two new pairs of jeans that I found and bought during a one hour intensive shopping trip today. (Impressive, huh?)

Anywho, I just haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do with this blog, but for those of you who still stop by...I wanted to tell you that I appreciate you!

I think it has been interesting what you write in each place. One is all about your boys and your experience with adopting but here has been the you before being a mom, Tracy the actress, Tracy the funny silly crafty girl, Tracy the woman in love with her e-suiter.
So are you only a mom now? of course not.

You'll find what you are drawn to write about and I think that will tell you what you'll do with this space. Each blog has a different audience and yet a huge overlap. They are whatever you want them to be. :-)
Have you thought about combining them? or tabbing the content to have them be together but the content separate?

I love that we both became mom's so close in time. I wish we lived closer so we could share more of our experiences, as blogging as become so much harder for me now.

I like that Always & Forever Ours is a blog you write with your husband. Yet, it's really neat that the two of you still have you're own blogs in addition to the one you write together.

You have your beautiful family as well as other interests. Of course the two are intimately connected as they should be. I think in time you'll find more time to write about all the hundreds of other things you do in conjunction with mothering. It just may a take awhile. I, for one, would love to read about your acting classes and shopping finds. We still need girl time after all!

The good thing is that this is your blog and you can do what you want when you want...

Regardless of what you decide I'm really glad that you have a blog! :)

My verification is "incho" which is interesting but not nearly as perfect as your "pears" the other day. lol!

I vote for keeping this one, and just writing here when you feel the urge. You are so many things to so many people, it's nice to have a place that is still connected to the you before Brian and the boys, and yet, not separate from them. :)

I love you three! Thank you for the encouragement!

Cherry - You can tab multiple blogs? I had no idea! That sounds like a great solution...

I started www.starshineacademy.org in 2002 after the events of 9/11 because I wanted people to learn how to live better, beginning in kindergarten in real schools. Simple, less judgement, more life. Why don't you write for us--I don't have enough time....:)

Wow, Trish! What a neat offer! What would the job involve?

Also, I had no idea you had a "StarShine Academy"! How amazing is that?!

We love checking in! I've been a bit of a lazy blogger myself, but I don't have the wonderful excuse that you do of being a new mother to two such angels! Hugs {xo}
