Saturday was pretty much a perfect day. eSuitor came by to pick me up at about 10 am, and we drove up to Santa Barbara to spend the day there. We had a great time talking in the car. (One of my favorite things about road tripping is time to chat as you watch the world go by.)
We picnicked on the beach in the shade of a palm tree and then took a nice long walk in the sand.
Later, we toured the Santa Barbara Mission.
And before heading back to LA, we met eSuitor's cousins for dinner, which was so fun. Really great people.
Really great day.

That looks beautiful! Must be nice to be able to have a picnic and long walk in the summer without sweltering to death!
