On Set!

Lights, Camera, Action!

What a great weekend! I just wrapped shooting on my first film since moving to LA! It was so much fun! The film is a spoof of The Chronicles of Narnia. My character was named "Moosy". She's a thickly accented Texan character, with a penchant for smacking her gum, filing her nails, and over-accessorizing. I love comedy, so this role was a total blast to play. I feel very blessed and grateful to have been able to live my dreams this weekend.

Nothing says "Texas-trashy" quite like big hair, fushia press-on nails and many, many accessories!

Here's a picture of one of the crew flocking the trees of the "forest" on set.

Oh My Gosh...I can't wait to see that. Looks like fun, congrats. I remember filming my first film in L.A. it was a student film from UCLA and not quite as much fun as the one you apparently had!!

Oh my god, for some reason I thought it was a theater type play, and that there's no way we would ever get to see it! Keep us updated on our chances!

The film is an independent short (30 mins). I think the director wants to show it at festivals and hopes to sell it. I'll keep you posted. :)
