Halfway There!

Guess what, y'all? I'm halfway to my weightloss goal! Yep, I've lost 7.5 lbs! Operation String Bikini is well underway. I've already bought two bikinis for my honeymoon! I found my favorite one at Target--it's an itsy bitsy teeny weeny turquoise polka dot bikini! And it has a cute little ruffle on it.

I've found that The South Beach Diet is working for me. I also joined Curves, which has been a good exercise solution for me.

I have about two months and a few weeks to work on the second half of my goal. I'll keep you posted!

Congrats girlfriend! You'll be SMOKING up that Hawaiian beach, and esuiter will be handing you chocolates, hoping that you'll gain weight fast and the other guys will put their teeth back in. Too bad, eSuiter, even if she gained 80 lbs, they'd still be gawking. ;) Good thing you got her that big rock, so they can see from far away that she's not interested.

This is all good news-- weight loss and finding bikinis that you actually like. You do know that you'll need lots and lots of sunblock in HA, don't you? Especially on those delicate, not accustomed to being seen bits and pieces of you. [Sounding like a mother here, but experience has taught me that sunblock is more important on the beach than the swimsuit.]

Trust me, Ally Bean...as a redhead, I never let my skin see a beach without first slathering it with SPF 50 sunblock. And I heard they just came out with SPF 75! Woo hoo!
