I'm reminded of a post at Morphing Into Mama maybe a year and a half ago, where she got herself into a heap of trouble by suggesting that people who allowed themselves to get fat after the wedding was over were guilty of 'false advertising'. She said the same thing about women who cut their hair after the wedding...that we lured men in with our long, sexy tresses, and once we snared them, CHOP, off it came. Bad wives!
I remember thinking, "wait, it's just hair...I hope he loves me for more than that!" :)
And the only reason your pic reminds me of that is because you got married so recently.
now you and jill reallllly look like sisters. (not that you didn´t before.) i´m glad you blog so i have a way to keep up with you even when we don´t talk. i´m sorry the only people i talk to these days are my civil procedure and contracts texts. no excuse. i miss you. i know we´ll talk soon but until then know that i think you seriously look adorable with your new do!!
Haha! I got mine cut last week with almost the same do! I wanted to go short last time, but my stylist wouldn't let me. She said I should go short gradually for fear I'd freak out. So this time... it's even shorter.
This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!

That is really a new do! I love it!! How does it feel to have shorter hair?
Very, very cute! That kind of flippy 'do seems to fit your personality! And it's probably easier to take care of!
