After spending a few hours in La Jolla, we drove up the coast to meet Husby at the beach in Oceanside.
He surfed...
...and I boogied!
Today, Mom and I were city girls.
She visited my acting class with me, which was fun, and then we drove to Beverly Hills for dinner at my favorite restaurant, Cafe Flore:

Oh, yea. Mom was workin' it on Rodeo Drive. :)
Friday will be our day in the 'burbs. TJ Maxx...here we come!

ah! i'll never forget showing off LA to my mom a zillion years ago. we spent a day in mailbu and on zuma beach.
my baby boy will get his first shot at tinseltown in a month when his dad takes him out there. lucky kid is getting tours of dreamworks, ea games, rick bakers studio, cartoon network and more. what 8 year old boy wouldn't be geeked out by THAT?

What a great visit with your mom. It's so special that she has been able to come out so quickly after all of the festivities. It must be great to see her so much this year!
Ohh.. and boogie boarding? I've never done it, and won't do it up here, too chilly. One thing I'm looking forward to trying in Hawaii when we get there (someday). Eric surfs here, and I think he's crazy!

I'm so glad you have a great relationship with your Mom. I'm spending this week at G's place. Wednesday and Thursday will be our days together. Can't wait! In the meantime, it's time with "grands".
