My sister had her 20 week ultrasound today. Isn't the 3-D ultrasound technology amazing?! The little nugget even smiled for the camera! The general consensus is that this baby totally has the same smile that my mom, sister and I have. Yea!
The reality of that image is shocking! How wonderful. And just a little creepy because he appears to have a personality already, like he's peeking out from behind something! Funny stuff!
Hi Starshine! I love where your name came from! And that photo up there is amazing...the color, the dress, your hair...Sweet! The ultrasound, unbelievable! Thanks for saying hi!
Hey Starshine... It's Lisa Wright from Hidden Forest days! My mom talked to your mom and gave us your blog. I've loved reading and seeing EVERYTHING! Okay...is that baby a girl or a boy? We just had Mason 6 weeks ago...sister is in for a treat and you will be a GREAT tia! Smiles! lisa
This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!
