"O" is for Obesession

I think Hubs and I officially achieved "old married couple" status over the Christmas holidays when we realized our mutual love for Scrabble. We haven't stopped playing since--at least once a week, but often more than that!

Scrabble trivia: Did you know that 1 in 3 American families owns a Scrabble game?

My fiancé and I love Scrabble, too! Although we have to play Scrabulous online most of the time since we're in different cities...

How fun you guys love Scrabble! Scrabulous on FaceBook is actually a common obsession in NGO-land. No kidding, I have one friend who at any given time might have 4 or 5 games going with various friends around the world. The big question: do you two allow use of the dictionary while playing??

I love playing Scrabulous on Facebook with friends across town and friends across the world. :)

I haven't played Scrabble in a few years....should pull that one out of the closet soon, I'm thinking. ;)

DUDE! We TOTALLY just bought Scrabble a few months ago, and we are ADDICTED!! I LOVE that there is another married couple who are addicted, as well!!! Patrick is really good at kicking my butt in the last 5 minutes of the game, so I have yet to actually WIN a game. I think he just "lets" me win for awhile to make me feel better about my vocabulary:)

When my grandparents were alive, every Saturday night they'd drink champagne and play scrabble. It's a nice tradition I'd like to do as well :)

We love to play it at our house. My daughter is the best.

How have I never heard of Scrabulous? I've got to check it out!

Hubs and I do allow the use of the dictionary, but only to challenge words, not to spell our own.

We never have played speed Scrabble together, but I played years ago with my friend back home and remember it being a lot of fun!

I'm glad to see there are so many fans out there!

AM-I think your grandparents tradition is so much fun, and worthy of carrying on!
