My advice is to learn French before you become a mother, since motherhood is like this black hole that sucks in and never returns either braincells of time.
Very attainable. I like your list. Have the baby first and get one of those language programs and speak to it in French and English. You can accomplish two things at once!
Yeah, you could dig deeper, but why? On my birthday, I decided my goal for this year was to learn how to cook something new. Yeah, I could have dug deeper ... but I really want to learn how to cook something new. So, why pretend like I want to skydive?
You can totally learn French, become a mama, and still be an awesome actress. !Vamanos!
This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!

If you learn French early on, maybe your child could learn some, too. :) And then you could be on a French Soap Opera!
Learning French is my dream too. I have about 10 books on the subject and a virtual tutor but ...
life gets in the way.
I just recently rededicated myself to reviewing the French I learned throughout Jr. High, HS and College. We'll see how that goes!!
I have a friend using Rosetta Stone to learn Russian and it's working quite well. That could be an option. :)
