I took these photos on Tuesday of my sweet friend's adorable new baby boy. I think newborn photography is my favorite!

This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away in 2003, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to put into practice some of his virtues--a place to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive!

When I have a baby, after I get around to getting married, I'm bringing he or she to you!!
I can't wait to have my baby and take lots of pictures! Oh wait, that's what we already do with Sam. : )

You're so creative, Tracy. I so wish I had a pic of Josh in a dump truck. He loves construction vehicles now. Although if he had his choice, he'd be in a garbage truck! All boy!!
