We had an awesome time in Virginia with Hubs' family. We spent the first couple of days in southern VA, near the North Carolina border. The foliage was off-the-charts beautiful! We spent a day walking around the town my mother-in-law lives in--very charming with antique stores and a main street that looks like one.
The day before Thanksgiving we drove up further north. We got to visit with Hubs' sister and her kids. His niece just loves him, and they were so cute together.
Thanksgiving Day was like something out of a Norman Rockwell picture. About 30 family members gathered together. Hubs got to see some cousins who he hadn't seen since high school! Here is everyone together.
On our way out of town, we got to have a quick visit with my bestie, Ad!

Great photos! Looks like you and hubs had a wonderful Thanksgiving. He's too cute with his niece!
Gorgeous pics, and the picture of hubs with his niece makes me say, what a good dad he's going to be. No rush, but you know, when the time comes. ;)
That was quite a magnificent Thanksgiving you had, right down to the underage smokers. In Canada, our Thanksgiving was back in October. We still give out candy that looks like narcotic.
Happy Thanksgiving honey.
Looks like it was a wonderful one.
That photo of your husband and your neice - the one where his arms are wrapped all the way around her and she's snuggling up to him, made me totally nostalgic and I cried.
So wonderful. You got a good one, he's going to be a great dad, I bet.
Merry Christmas too, Starshine.
