I'm in Texas, Y'all

My posting may be sparse this week because I'm in Texas. I got to attend a couple of super fun baby showers for my sister this past weekend. She is looking adorably pregnant, and her baby is moving around like crazy. It even got the hiccups today!

Now, my sister and I are spending some time with our Dad, who is bravely fighting awful cancer. His strength in the midst of this tremendous trial continues to amaze me. I love him so.

Hubs is manning the fort at home, and being very sweet about it, too, I might add. :)

Please be in prayer for my Dad--for his comfort, strength, and healing. The cancer is really aggressive and not relenting. Thank you for your prayers.

Hurray for babies!
I'm so glad you are in a situation right now where you have the flexibility to be there for your sister and especially to be able to spend this precious time with your dad.

HUGS!

i agree with cherry that you are quite fortunate to be able to be with both your dad and sister at this time. i have recently asked a few of my close friends to include your dad on their prayer lists, so thanks for the mini-update. i am praying for you and the rest of your fam as well!

i hope the showers are filled with joy and lots of FUN! celebrate life! (((hugs)))

I'm so sorry about your Dad. Hope you enjoy your time there and don't get too down. I know it's terribly difficult. We're all thinking about you...

What a sweet and sour visit, with you there for reasons of such joy and difficulty at the same time. My wishes of course are for a wonderful, healthy baby for your sister, and comfort and recovery for your dad.
