"J" is for Jilly had a baby boy!

I don't even know his name yet, but here are a few photos taken from the operating room. He was born by c-section at 10:54 am CST. 19 inches. 5 pounds, 3 ounces. Isn't it a miracle? So brand new!

"For you created me in my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well."
-Psalm 139

Praise the Lord for the newest member of our family!

Oh my GOD!!! I literally gasped out loud when I saw that first picture! What a little muffin he is! Congratulations to you on being an auntie, and to your sister as well! Please tell her I'm so happy for her...I remember her so fondly at your wedding shower last year. :)

woa! that is SO wonderful. I am so happy for your whole family that your nephew is finally here safe and sound. He is absolutely beautiful...what a darling.

Please give Jilly our internet congratulations and if you think she might be interested, please also pass along my email address to her. Sometimes it's nice to "chat" with someone who is going through (or literally JUST went through) the same thing as you.

Congrats once again!

Hey, 5lb 3oz! That was my birth weight! My mom also suffered from pre-eclampsia (I think) but back then they induced labor. Back then in '65, they said a baby that small couldn't live. I guess I showed them! And boy, what a difference 40+ years makes, because that's not even considered small anymore! Yay for him, yay for Jilly and her husband!
