That would make my day as well! I still remember fondly the day my sister and her (then) baby came to visit. She was thrilled to be free of him for long enough to go swimming in our pool with Maya, and I was thrilled to have him nap on my chest, with his neck burrowed into my neck. GAH! What a feeling.
This blog began as my place to chronicle my life in Los Angeles, where I lived from 2005-2009. In March 2009, my husband and I moved to my home state of Texas, where we have started a new chapter of life together.
My stepdad, John, gave me the nickname "Starshine" and I have always loved it. He passed away seven years ago, but his love still resonates in my heart. John had a way of putting things simply and never judging. I hope that this blog will be a place for me to openly express myself, free from the judgment of my inner critic. A place to be truly alive! I love you John! We miss you!
